He was also a very regressive adult baby who lived a lot of his life as a baby. He was the inventor of the quantum drive, a dramatically powerful spacecraft engine that still has instabilities that only he could solve. A mysterious wormhole-like object appears out past Pluto, and only the quantum drive has the speed to get a spacecraft there. But the only other expert in the quantum drive has a near-fatal injury and cannot make the trip. This leaves Jeremy as the only one able to manage the drive on its long journey into space. But Jeremy has always been in nappies and is also… still a baby. |
