** A little different approach as Nathan is an 18 year old boy/man, who is not ready to take on the world after his parents are killed in an auto accident. At least that is what his aunty Janet wants him to believe. Since she could never have kids of her own, she sees Nathan as her best opportunity to have a semblance of the real thing. Slowly Nathan succumbs to her manipulations. Disappointed that messing his diapers was left out.. Obviously, as in many stories, you have to suspend disbelief because Janet’s reasoning is somewhat tenuous. She gets some help from a couple neighbors and a niece. There are illustrations that start each chapter. Nice touch. I liked the story because it was different, but I would have liked it more if Janet’s manipulations and logic could have been stronger.
