As writers, editors and publishers of 46+ books and dozens of articles, we offer you our experienced eye to turn your document into a professional-looking manuscript that will stand above the crowd

M&R Bent offer the following services:

  1. Document editing for spelling, grammar and punctuation
  2. Correct layout for paragraphs, dialogue, chapters, bulleted/numbers lists et cetera
  3. Ensuring consistency of the narrative in tense (common mistake), point of view and 1st/3rd person style.
  4. Assistance with cover design if required
  5. Suggestions on improvements to writing style.

While clearly we are experienced with ABDL books, we also work on non-ABDL manuscripts.

What is the cost?

The costs will of course vary significantly according to the size of the manuscript and ‘the state’ of the work. As a guide, a 35000 word novel in reasonable condition would be $70. The best thing to do is to submit your manuscript to abdiscovery@adam.com.au for an assessment and quote. We will get back to you quickly.

What about publishing your book?

We can prepare your manuscript ready for self-publication on Amazon Kindle and Print and give advice on publication on other platforms if desired. We also offer some writers the chance to publish with AB Discovery and benefit from our expertise and marketing position in which case, all the above services are done for free. The choice is up to you!

What about marketing your book?

If you want to self-publish your ABDL book, the biggest struggle is in marketing. AB Discovery has a large base through which you may want to market your book. Talk it through with us.

Why get a professional edit and preparation for your book?

The internet is full of badly written and poorly edited books and in some cases, that makes them unreadable. Writers want readers to come back for more of their books, so it is essential that your book is at least, competently written and edited. Properly prepared books sell well, while poorly prepared ones do not. As an example, one author whose previous works sold only a handful of copies has now sold nearly 5000 copies. Clearly, the costs have been massively outweighed by the benefits.

I don’t know how to write my book!

Don’t let that stop you. If you are a frequent reader, you probably already know a lot more about writing a book than you think. Contact us at abdiscovery.com.au and have a discussion about your book, your ideas, and how they can come to fruition.
