Baby Sally is an adult baby.
Nine years ago she met the woman who would end up being her mummy. Baby Sally was now a fully dependent infant girl who needed a mummy as much as any other one-year-old baby. It was a dream come true for both of them and mother and child had bonded as a real family. Sally’sfears and failings of the past evaporated in a life of nappies and playing, of feeding and toys, of love and security.
And then one day, mummy just left.
Baby Sally awoke that morning in her usual soggy nappies, lying in her cot and playing with her toys as she waited for mummy to come and attend to her as she did every morning. But mummy never came.
Baby Sally was left alone.
